Today I took an afternoon to central london with charlie. we spent a lot of time in Hamley's toy store. This place is massive. It is six floors full of all the toys and gadgets any child would want in their possession. .
I had my very first offical class this morning- its called Musical Style and Historical Culture. And we will be concentrating on late 19th centruy Viennese music. So exciting. This time period of music represents my favorite time in history- romanticism and nationalism!!!!!!
There are all sorts of people of all different ages in my class including an older lady who filled our heads with bountiful information that wouldn't normally be important but to her at that exact moment it was dire.
This evening I had football practice where I had my first moments learning how to work with the ball and how to head the ball. Then, we played a quick 15 minute game where I messed up some BUT I got some kudos about my hustle and attempt at a tackle. I chased an attacker down and attempted to tackle the ball. I ended up in log rolling tumble. I got a 'fair play' from the 3rd team captain which made me feel good :)
Its about 11:35 in the evening and I am not gonna go out tonight since football kinda wore me out today. But I hear some noise downstairs, perhaps I will do some snooping!!!
Cheer!!!! (and go Indians)
